Unlocking Digital Potential: AI & Employability Hub is delivered by Softclue Data Empowerment CIC, a community interest company working to make data and digital technology genuinely useful for local people.
Why the Hub exists
Artificial intelligence is changing how people learn, apply for work and get things done. That change should not leave anyone behind. Many people in our community are held back by limited digital confidence, not by a lack of ability or ambition.
The Hub creates a warm, unhurried place to catch up and get ahead: to understand what AI actually is, use it safely and responsibly, and turn new skills into a CV, an application, an interview and a next step.
Everything we offer is free to participants and shaped around real goals — a job, a course, a qualification, a volunteering role, or simply the confidence to manage life online.
Our values
Inclusive, practical and community-led
Accessible venues, plain English, adjustable pace and support for people with additional needs.
Every session ends with something usable: a skill practised, a CV improved, an application submitted.
We teach safe, ethical and honest use of AI, including its limits, risks and data considerations.
